2nd Annual EU Film Festival in Mongolia to be organised

The 2nd EU Film Festival in Ulaanbaatar from November 23-27, 2011. The EU Film Festival is organized by the Delegation of the European Union for Mongolia in partnership with the German Goethe-Institute, Liaison Office Mongolia and the Alliance Francaise de Mongolie. Local partners are the Black Box Theatre, Arts Council of  Mongolia and Globe International.  
Training of Trainers

Globe International has launched an online education URL at its main website http://journalism-edu.mn/investigative/   and posted the UNESCO manual for investigative journalists “Story based inquiry” in Mongolian.
Law on the Information Transparency and Right to Information

Law on Information Transparency and Right to Information will be effective from December 1, 2011. The purpose of this law is to regulate relations pertaining to ensuring transparency of the state, and rights of citizens and legal entities to seek and receive information.
Improving visibility of women candidates in the 2012 parliamentary election

Starting new project titled ”Story-based Inquiry - Investigative reporting training”

“Globe International” is implementing a four-monthly project “Story-based Inquiry - Investigative reporting training” under the UNESCO, Oyu Tolgoi LLC and  the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC)  fundings. The current project attempts to encourage the media practitioners to develop professional and independent investigative stories, based on editorial independence and solid professional ethical values.

Globe International, a Mongolian NGO has completed the 12 month project “Transparency Campaigning at  Local Government to Curb Corruption” which was implemented from August 15, 2010 to July 15, 2011 under the funding of the Partnership for Transparency Fund.
