The second day of the National Consultation: Human Rights Defenders Network 2017 on Sunday 3 September 2017 largely focused on reflecting on progress made in plans identified the year before, and drafting an action plan for the coming time. However, the first session in the morning gave the floor to several experts to present on key legislation and laws relevant for human rights defenders in Mongolia. |

Mongolia: Human Rights Must Be A Key Element in the Upcoming Elections

The new project has started "Raising awareness of young Mongolians on democratic elections" funded by British Embassy

Globe International Center, a Mongolian NGO is started to run the new project a social media campaign promoting youth participation in elections. This will be done via social media since 80 percent of Facebook users are young people aged 18-35. |
