Laws that included articles on the regulation of media, information transparency and openness, freedom and right of expression have rapidly increased from 91 in 2001 to 188 regulations as of 31st of December, 2010.

In the framework of Globe International’s “Media Legal Advocacy” project funded by the Embassy of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Mongolia, a collection of laws were developed and presented on the basis of the research that has been conducted on 418 laws, 1287 amendments to laws adopted between 1957 and 2010.

Collected articles of the laws will be posted on Globe International NGO’s official website www.globeinter.org.mn, section on media laws, moreover some necessary articles will be translated into English.

Updating of the laws has not been conducted since the research on media, information laws in 2001 and laws on information transparency in 2004.
