I received serious head injury when the post-election demonstration I was covering on July 1 riot in Ulaanbaatar. The head wound was under severe condition. I was admitted to the Orthopaedic Trauma Centre in Ulaanbaatar, where I underwent immediate epidural haematoma surgery to remove bone fragments lodged in my brain. Thanks to an urgent surgery made by doctors and nurses in Trauma Center, my life was saved. Then it required the second stage treatment or further surgery in procedures only available in foreign countries.
I underwent surgery for the second time to supplement the brain bone at “Anam” Hospital of Seoul’s Medical University in the Republic of Korea. The second surgery was made thanks to helps and assistances of kind-hearted people who made contribution to pay my urgent medical treatment and surgical expenses.
My special sincere thanks go to the “Mongol News” Co., Ltd, where I work, its director B. Nandintushig and colleagues who helped me all kinds of sincere assistances in mind and material forms. As well, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to following organizations and individuals who also stretched helping hand to me for recovering.
