Member of the German Bundestag, Dr Christiane Schenderlein, the head of her office, Mr. Frederic Wutzler and Mr. Victor Frank, resident representative of Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Mongolia visited the office of The Globe International Center. Mrs Onon Batmunkh, The Executive director of GIC and lawyer Mr. Galbaatar Lkhagvasuren are welcomed guests and introduced the GIC avtivities.

Dr Christiane Schenderlein is a member of the Standing Committee on Media and Culture of the Bundestag of Germany and it is her first trip to Mongolia to exchange opinions on the current state of Mongolian media, the legal environment, the challenges faced by journalists, and the freedom of speech and expression of Mongolian citizens. She said, “In Germany, the implementation of the digital media law, which is covered all digital area in detail, has been adopted, but it will take time to fully understand the results of its implementation” and expressed her willingness to cooperate fruitfully in the future. 

The Executive director of the Globe International Center, Mrs. B. Onon, presented the plan to further intensify activities for the right to speak, freedom of expression and the right to know. She noted about the lack of lawyers specializing in the media to provide assistance, and expressed his opinion on empowering lawyers.
