The MASAM II project team of Globe International Center NGO will work in Baganuur and Nalaikh districts from February 21 to 25, 2022.
The MASAM II project team plans to carry out three activities. First, the team will meet with representatives of the provinces’ local government and civil society organizations to make an official presentation of the project and exchange views on it. Second, training will be provided in four modules to build the capacity of governmental and civil society representatives. The four modules are aimed to increase the knowledge and skills of both sectors’ representatives to effectively implement social accountability tools in the budget process in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public investment and primary health care.
Afterward, a discussion will be held with representatives of both parties. The discussion is to be focused on two objectives: the effective planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and management of public investment, and the identification of issues at the provincial and village (soum) level based on multi-stakeholder participation in the effective delivery of primary health care, looking for effective solutions and thereby developing a collaborative strategy.
