The Reporters Without Borders has issued the media freedom index for 2010. Among 178  countries, Mongolia was ranked in 76th place. 

Mongolia improved from the previous year.
According to previous ratings, Mongolia was in
96th place in 2009; 93rd place in 2008, and 74th place in 2007.
