In memory of Ts. Baldorj, the famous journalist and writer, founders of the Baldorj Foundation announced that they have created a top prize for Mongolian journalists to support professional journalism in Mongolia and develop journalism studies in the country.

Participants are to submit their work throughout the year and judges will select the best works by giving points on news, reports, interviews and articles each month.  The prize is to be awarded annually on September 20, Ts. Baldorj’s birthday.

Winners of this prize, named after Ts. Baldorj, will receive US$ 5,000 as well as a golden Gerege, with an image of Baldorj on it. Founders of the Baldorj Foundation promised to include further categories in this contest involving all aspects of journalistic writing.

Ts. Baldorj was the famous Mongolian journalist and writer. He was a founder of Mongol News, a media company that runs Channel 25, FM radio and several newspapers including Onoodor, daily newspaper.  In detail:
