Globe International has organized four days training workshop for herders of Ovorkhangai province. The training was held in Arvaikheer town on 24-27 November 2008 and invited 19 herders.

This interactive and intensive training is a part of Business Roaming project of Internews Europe under EU Asia Invest Programme and aimed at providing the herders with information needed to improve quality of their live.

The training consisted from 8 sessions and the participants gained knowledge on what is information, means of information access, how to access the government information, how and where to raise funds for their business, how to select the right information, what types of information do they need for their businesses and nature and principles of citizen journalism.

During the information market organized training the herders have obtained information on the services of mobile operators, bank and local hospitals.  The participants also involved to the Internet training.

90% of the participants said they are able to distribute the information and knowledge they gained from the training.
