Journalists to specialize on nature and the environment

With funding from the Netherlands Government, the project ‘Journalists to specialize on nature and the environment’ has been carried out in the environmental field by the Open Society Forum.
Within the framework of this project, charted to improve the capacity of journalists covering the field and provide more factual and appropriate media information to the public, over 30 journalists have attended a course on numerous environmental subjects during the project’s 10-month term.
In the course of the project, a handbook issued by ESCAP for environmental journalists was revised and translated into Mongolian, as well as a book ‘Reference for environmental journalists’ were published for the first time in Mongolia.
