The Onoodor daily newspaper of Mongolia, published by Mongol News /who also publish the UB Post/, is now available at newsstands in the United States.

In collaboration with the Pacific Marketing company of Mongolia, the first issue of the ‘Onoodor Amerikt’ paper has been printed for Mongolian communities in San Francisco, California. It is estimated that there are over 2000 Mongolian people in San Francisco and approximately 10,000 living throughout the United States.

The publishers of the Onoodor Amerikt newspaper hope to reach Chicago and Denver in the near future, ‘One way of delivering accurate and up-to-date news to Mongolians living in America is the newspaper. Currently they are using mostly the internet. We have noticed that there is a lack of newspapers to read. Thus, we thought it would be good to print an America edition of our newspaper,’ said L.Bolormaa, deputy editor of the Onoodor daily news.

‘The Onoodor daily newspaper is one of the top daily newspapers with largest circulation in Mongolia. We are happy to work together with the Mongol News company for the purpose of delivering balanced news coverage of Mongolia,’ said M.Batjargal, director of the Pacific Marketing company.

In addition, the Mongol News media company plans to print an Asia edition, especially in South Korea, where the largest Mongolian population live abroad. /over 25,000/
