Globe International NGO expresses great sympathy on the murder of the Japanese citizen Shin Kawasaki, who had been working at JICA in Mongolia as a volunteer for the National Public Radio and Television (NPRT). The condolences were published in the 31th number of the "Mongoru Tsushin" /Mongolian news/ a bi-monthly japanese newspaper of the MONTSAME news agency.

On September 28, "Globe International"  NGO held the public discussion on "State Secrecy and Freedom of Information"  at the National Legal Centre. During the discussion more than 40 people from the General Police Department, Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs, and General staff of the Mongolian Armed force, expressed their position on the current law.

On October 20, Globe Intrernational NGO held a Public discussion on the ‘Monitoring report for Mongolian National Broadcasting (MNB) at the Press Institute. 20 representatives from (MNB), Open Society Forum, and the Confederation of Mongolian journalists participated in the discussion.

On November 24, the NGO “Globe International” held a public discussion on draft Law on State Secrecy. Round 30 people,

The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) demands a full investigation into police brutality against journalists in Mongolia, after police attacked journalists and photographers while they were covering a civil society demonstration on October 27, and then detained them for two hours.

As the world TV program approaches have been changed, programs based on people’s real life and images have been dominating on TV. Following this trend, some Mongolian TVs have already organized several reality shows.

"Newspaper of Uvurkhangai", which has been regularly reporting about activities of Parliament members G.Batkhuu, Z.Enkhbold and R.Badamdamdin, who elected to the parliament from Uvurkhangai aimag, 400 kms in the southwest from Capital city Ulaanbaatar, has been issued a month.

Information about state organizations activities are insufficient. It was revealed in a survey carried out among residents of Uvurkhangai aimag.
